- General Club Range Rules Apply.
- Think safety, observe firearms safety rules.
- Pistols and .22 cal Rim fire rifles only.
- NO high power rifles.
- The pistol range will allow use of low power center fire rifle and shotguns during authorized events at the discretion of the pistol
committee. This will be done on a limited basis and only when an authorized pistol range officer is present.
- Eye and ear protection must be used.
- Bullets must strike the earthen berm.
- No breakable targets.
- No shooting from the hip.
- No shooting at targets or boxes placed on the ground or at the top of the earthen berm. Do not attach targets on or to the wooden
cross bards. Staple them to the backers.
- New pistol shooter or anyone not sure should walk up closer to the target (20 feet or so) to ensure in fact the bullets are hitting
the berm, or use the portable stand. Using the portable stand is proper if others are waiting to use the range.
- Make sure if using the portble stand that the bullets are hitting the berm.
- Metal silhouette or bowling pin shooting permitted only when an authorized range officer is present.
- Be sure all loaded, jammed, or misfired gunes are pointing in a safe direction before being cleared.
- No shooting or handling of guns after drinking alcoholic beverages.
- Shooting hours: No shooting before 10:00am. No Shooting after 8:00pm or when the range lights come on. Whichever comes first.
